Ceske Budejovice is the largest city in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, as well as its political and commercial capital. Budejovice has long been well known for the beer brewed there since the 13th century. Budweiser Bier became one of its best known lagers and brewing remains a major industry still today.
